Initially, this location was the Broadway Garage, subsequently the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, the Technical College of The Rockies, the Chamber of Commerce and today the Hot Springs County Museum & Cultural Center.
Owned and operated by Roscoe and "Pop" Zimmerman, the Coca-Cola bottling plant had a bowling alley in the basement. Harold W Willis was the manager of the lanes per the 1941-42 Ives Business Directory. Bill and Edna Dunnam with Les Shepardson owned/managed the lanes per the 1948 Round Top HS Yearbook. |
